Emily Gardella
Attorney
Emily Gardella joined the firm in 2025 following her service as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps from 2021 to 2025. Emily is dedicated to representing survivors of sexual assault and securing justice on their behalf, drawing on her extensive background as a Victims’ Legal Counsel and prosecutor in the Navy. During her time in the Navy, Emily represented crime victims of sexual assault and domestic violence throughout the military justice process and represented the United States in court-martial prosecutions of service-members, predominantly handling child sexual abuse and domestic violence cases.
Emily graduated cum laude from the Florida State University College of Law in 2020, where she was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Florida State University Law Review, Activities Director of the Women’s Law Symposium, and a Student Advocate for the Veterans Legal Clinic. In law school, Emily received highest grade awards in both Comparative and Admiralty law classes and awarded the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award.
Emily’s practice currently focuses on the representation of victims of sexual assault and child sexual abuse material. Emily is licensed to practice law in the State of Washington.
