Kimberly Tanner

Kimberly Tanner joined the firm in 2025 following her work as a Contracted Supervisory Paralegal assisting the United States Department of Justice Money Laundering, Narcotics, and Forfeiture Section (formerly MLARS). Kimberly is dedicated to representing victims of fraud, particularly cryptocurrency fraud, to help them seek justice and the recovery they deserve. Kimberly has extensive paralegal experience working as a contractor with the United States Department of Justice assisting with international money laundering cases, foreign corrupt practice act violations, and other forms of financial fraud. Kimberly also has worked in the cryptocurrency industry for nearly two years as the litigation and regulatory paralegal with Bittrex, Inc.

Kimberly graduated from the American University Washington College of Law in 2025, where she was a Senior Staff Writer with the Criminal Law Practitioner Journal and a Student Advocate with the Decarceration and Re-entry Clinic. Kimberly participated in the evening student division, balancing her full-time work as a paralegal while earning her law degree. Kimberly also proudly holds B.A and M.A. degrees in Sociology and Criminology from the George Washington University where she graduated with honors.

Kimberly’s practice currently focuses on the representation of victims of cryptocurrency fraud. Kimberly is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland.
