Douglass A. Kreis

Mr. Kreis received his B.A. from Mercer University in Political Science in 1992 attending under a four year academic/athletic scholarship and received a juris doctorate from Cumberland School of Law in 1997.

While in law school, Mr. Kreis earned the highest grade Book Award in Constitutional Law and the distinction as Cumberland's 1997 Environmental/Toxic Tort Law Representative, participating in the National Environmental/Toxic Tort Law Conference in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Kreis gained significant trial advocacy and legal briefing experience through both Cumberland's Trial Advocacy Program/Moot Court Competitions and externship with Alabama Supreme Court Justice, Michael Bolin (then Jefferson County, Alabama State Court Judge).

Mr. Kreis is admitted to all Florida State Courts, the Southern and Middle United States District Courts of Florida and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Kreis is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Escambia-Santa Rosa County Bar Association.

Mr. Kreis comes originally from a diverse general practice background before his transition into his present position within the firm's personal injury and pharmaceutical litigation departments. There, Mr. Kreis' work has been primarily focused on claims involving injury arising out the use of the diet drug Fen Phen. Mr.Kreis limits his practice to the areas of: wrongful death and personal injury and is currently involved in the following matters: Automobile Negligence, Ford Truck Litigation, Fen-Phen, Ephedra; and ETS Erroneous Test Grading Litigation.
