Brother Donald Dimitroff is listed in the Baltimore Archdiocese’s September 2002 roster of religious priests and brothers accused of sexual abuse. He had been a part of his order for approximately 26 years. In 1997, the order informed the Archdiocese that a man had alleged sexual abuse starting in the early 1980s when Brother Donald Dimitroff served as a teacher at Bishop Walsh High School and the man was a student.

The abuse continued until 1997. Dimitroff admitted to having a “relationship” with the boy and claimed that he believed the boy was 18 years old. From 1992 to 2002, Dimitroff resided at the Christian Brothers residence at Calvert Hall High School. He served as a faculty member at Loyola College starting in 2002 and continued until at least 2008. As of 2010, he was also associated with the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Furthermore, Brother Donald Dimitroff was mentioned in the Maryland Attorney General’s report released on April 5, 2023.
