In May 2002, a man reported that Father Albert Stallings (also known as Pete) sexually molested him when he was 8 to 10 years old between 1978 and 1980. The abuse included fondling through the victim’s pants, which happened multiple times in both the church and the rectory of St. Clare. The victim also reported one incident of oral rape near the Back River Bridge on Eastern Avenue. The Archdiocese made mandated reports in 2002, but Stallings was already deceased by then. However, Stallings has not been listed as credibly accused by the Archdiocese.
