Father Charles Rouse admitted to sexual misconduct with minors in the 1970s during his second leave of absence for alcoholism treatment in 1995. The Attorney General’s office was notified, and his privileges were removed. In a 7/1997 news article, he was described as a priest on leave from the archdiocese who was pursuing graduate work at Washington University in St. Louis. He was added to the Baltimore archdiocese’s list of accused in 2002.
