Father Gerald Tragesser was accused in 1958 of committing abuse during the mid to late 1950s. He was removed from his assignment and sent for treatment in New Mexico. He reportedly worked in Maryland for three years, from 1956 to 1958. Tragesser’s name was included on Baltimore’s list of accused priests and religious that was released in September 2002. He passed away in 2013.
