Father Howard Yeakle was accused by the Archdiocese of abuse of minors and publicly named on its list on April 24, 2019. There were two allegations reported to the diocese of such abuse by Yeakle during the 1960s, and another allegation was received in 2018. Yeakle worked in Archdiocesan parishes from 1951 to 1971 and left the priesthood in 1972. He died in 1988.
