Father John Wielebski was ordained for the Trinitarians and was incardinated into the Baltimore Archdiocese in 1988. In December 2009, he was removed from his post at Resurrection of Our Lord in Laurel after three individuals reported that he had abused them in the mid-to late-1980s, both before and after he was incardinated in Baltimore.
The Archdiocese postponed making an announcement until January 2010 to allow police to conclude their investigation. Father Wielebski’s name was later added to Baltimore’s list of accused individuals on July 23, 2019.
