Father Joseph Kruse confessed in 1987 to sexual abuse during the mid to late 1980s. As a result, he was removed from his parish and underwent treatment. Afterward, he was assigned to hospital ministry. However, Father Kruse decided to leave the ministry in 1989. His name was subsequently included on Baltimore’s list of abusive priests in September 2002.
