Father Michael Kolodziej was Ordained for the Buffalo diocese before joining the Order in 1978, and was former Minister Provincial of the Order. Father Michael Kolodziej served as a teacher in various states including MD, NY, MA, and GA, and was the Principal of Cardinal O’Hara High in Buffalo diocese from 1982-1988. In 11/2013, a former student at Archbishop Curley High in Baltimore alleged that Father Michael Kolodziej sexually abused him on multiple occasions between 1975-1979 while “wrestling.”

He was suspended by his order from public ministry, and the archdiocese revoked his faculties. Police were investigating the allegations. Father Kolodziej was also named on Atlanta archdiocese’s list on 11/6/2018, Buffalo diocese’s updated list on 11/5/2018, and Baltimore’s list on 9/5/2019. He was accused in two lawsuits filed in 2019 under the NY Child Victims Act of molesting boys at Cardinal O’Hara High School in Tonawanda NY in 1982-1983 when he served as the school’s principal and teacher.
