Father Thomas F. Kelly, who also went by the name Brother Benedict Joseph, joined the Xaverians in 1933. He passed away in 1976. On July 12th, 2019, the order publicly identified Father Thomas F. Kelly as an accused individual on their list. The accusation of abuse, which reportedly took place in Baltimore in 1945, was reported in 1995. Additionally, Brother Kelly was included on the Baltimore archdiocese’s list in July 2019.
