Monsignor Robert Hiltz, who served as a pastor at St. Martin School, was publicly accused of sexual abuse in the 4/5/2023 MD Attorney General’s Report. He was first accused in 2003 by a girl, who was a family member between the ages of 11 and 15 during the alleged abuse in the 1970s.
The victim claimed that Monsignor Robert Hiltz made inappropriate physical gestures towards her and her sister and that a sexual encounter or kiss also occurred. In 2018, a man came forward alleging abuse by Hiltz when he was 10 years old in 1968 at St. Martin School. The man claimed that the abuse involved oral rape.
